My hearing is not very good this morning. I am not sure if that is related or not. I did notice yesterday that my ears were ringing worse than they had been.
I am scheduled to go off of Lyme killers today and then I will detox for 24 hours before starting the next new killer. I am looking forward to getting on with the getting better. While this last set of killers did rather set me back some in my overall feeling of well-being, I do seem to have some lessoning (and/or shifting) of the symptoms. (If I ignore the swollen eye I have at the moment)
I had a good week last week, feeling only slightly tired and out of sorts but that was not overly bad and by Saturday I was able to do quite a bit of work. Hubby and the oldest daughter went to a conference a few hours away and the other two girls and I stayed home and did some long needed adjustments to moving furniture. (No, we still have the hospital bed in the back room that will wait until spring when we plan to remove the carpet and replace the flooring.)
We currently have cold but very sunny conditions where we are and the brightness off the snow makes for a wintery cheer. But it is now Feb. so we begin to think about seeds for the garden, Mid-Kid just mentioned that she needs to put her bee hive together….spring will be upon us before we know it and we may not be quite ready this year. We are hoping that by May some of us will be in good enough shape to do the work that needs to be done. Overall, at times it can be difficult not to be discouraged. The eldest daughter woke up early this morning with so much head pain that she finally threw up from it. Mid-Kid has continues to have off and on low grade meningitis problems. #3 was having random side pains last night…and then I have this skin outbreak. Hubby doesn’t complain much but he does have a couple of more serious things that I am keeping a close watch on.
Yet we cannot focus on the negatives and must look to the positives. The eldest is doing overall better, Mid-Kid is not complaining about her stomach hurting as much. #3 seems to overall be not so exhausted all of the time. I do not have as much of the brain fog that I was having. And if you could see the trailer load of firewood that Hubby split (some of it by hand out of necessity) you would know that he has improved. A year ago he physically would not have been able to have done that job due to muscle fatigue. His strength seems to be the first thing that he has regained. I know he is thankful for that.
And with that, I will end this update and go do something with the left over lamb for our lunch.
