We were reviewing their symptom list tonight and the oldest has shown some good improvements in the past four months. The second one, has had some improvement but also some new complications as reported on Christmas Day.
The oldest has improved....she is sleeping better but still has bouts of insomnia.
she has begun playing the piano at church again, something she would not have been able to do this time last year. Recently she has picked up her violin again--the discernment in her hearing has increased. The noise sensitivity has deceased. She has been able to sing; the continual sore throats are much improved. Instead of six days out of seven, she will have a sore throat one day out of seven. There has been a few times recently when her mind has been truly and precisely clear, able to take in and remember things and there are days when it is not! There has been some let up in pain. Her stamina is not the greatest...her hands are still weak. She still has her Lyme hack....And she has some kind of odd Lyme gout in two of her toes...equally dispersed on both feet. Her hair has stopped falling out and there is some new baby growth coming in. She still has hives that pop up regularly and the occasional "shingle patches" ( spirochettes causes destruction of the nerves). She still has constant head congestion...She still sees everything quadruple but her eyes are better than they were two months ago. (That makes the boys the four time as handsome according to her sister). Her light sensitivity has improved but there are still nights when we have to dim the light at night to keep her from covering up her head again. And then there is the gut bloating at all random hours. On the positive side her body temperature has come up some (that means her thyroid is working better) It is still not up where it ought to be but not averaging 97 or less...and the most significant thing is that her liver is cleansing itself better (this is evidenced by that fact that her tongue is not loaded with a toxic coating --green/yellow).
So there has been improvement after sixteen months. She is not done yet but there is beginning to be light at the end of the tunnel. For this we praise God!
