Why is it important for you to spend your time watching this documentary? Because it might save your life or that of a loved one. It will help you better understand those around you that are battling with this chronic infection, and for no other reason, it just pays to be informed.
This film is about 5 years old and just recently a sequel has been released. Since 2009 a lot more research and information on the Lyme front has taken place but the politics of it all have not changed. Watch the video, educate yourself, and be supportive of those that need your encouragement.
On a personal note, my oldest daughter was on a rapid decline when she decided to talk to a Chronic Lyme specialist. She was at the point where getting out of bed was difficult for her, yet she was not able to sleep. Physically she hurt all over, constant headaches, blurred vision, sharp and burning random pains...(The symptom list was over two pages long!) And while some uncharitably called it laziness she was drifting further and further into the reality that something was horribly wrong. And that is why you need to watch this movie, because for the sake of those like my daughter, you will better understand that not everything is as it always appears.
Another reason why you need to watch this movie is because you might be the one with the tick bite or the odd symptoms and you need to mentally be prepared for a doctor to tell you "we don't have Lyme here." Imagine being a mother with child and tick in hand have the "authorities" tell you that "we don't have Lyme here". That is what we were told back in 1994 and mothers are still being told this today. Or for those that did get the short course of antibiotics only some years down the road develop symptoms for one of the "we don't know why" health issues. When it comes to your health the more informed the better. In the past, I have shared a symptom list now I am giving you a link to what can happen if you ignore the symptoms.
