But Lewy is that way, those people that are diagnosed with it early are able to talk about the bad dreams/hallucinations. Several months ago, the oldest daughter noticed that he seemed to be reacting to a bad dream...so she sweetly asked him if he had had a bad dream and he said to her, "Oh,I have lots of bad dreams, you don't want to know how horrible they are." That is the reason I try to let him know that he is not alone if he seems to be particularly distressed.
Some times we can associate something or other that might cause the more Lewyness but not always. It could be something simple like food or perhaps he is off a bit on his potassium. We just never know.
The growling monster noise can become downright nerve wracking particularly when you are trying to concentrate on anything at all. Since his room is right next to the kitchen it can drive me almost batty when I am hungry and trying to cook.
We did have success last night with the cut out sleeves, (check yesterday's post for further details). He has been picking this evening at the cuff of the shirt that he has on....so I imagine we will have more of a fight tonight with his bedtime sleeves. We can always stitch the cuffs shut once we get it on him if he keeps unbuttoning them.
It is all about out smarting Mr. Lewy!
